How do our Valentine’s Day Favourites line up?
While Valentine’s Day is all about red ribbons, red hearts, red roses and chocolates delivered by chubby cupids armed with arrows, at Putia Pure Food Kitchen we started to thinking about what Valentine’s means to us. This is our top five favourite ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day with the special person in your life.
Finding a surprise “Be my Valentine” card in your mail – signed simply with “xxxxx”;
Reading “Romeo and Juliet” the greatest love story by Shakespeare;
and watching Baz Luhrmann’s movie;
Listening to favourite love songs –
Best ever is the Bee Gees – Islands in the Stream
“Islands in the stream
That is what we are
No one in between
How can we be wrong
Sail away with me
To another world
And we rely on each other, ah ha
From one lover to another, ah ha”
And we can’t go past L-O-V-E
“L is for the way you look at me
O is for the only one I see
V is very, very extraordinary
E is even more than anyone that you adore can”
Giving gorgeous little things on Valentine’s day – keeping it simple with long stemmed red roses, maybe one, maybe a bunch; either way just add a big red ribbon bow.
And then a special, romantic dinner for two – our top pick is at Putia naturally.
